Mr. Berger’s Fallout Shelter Living Room, multimedia installation, 2016

statement

A living room and fallout shelter are both places of safety and security. Refuge from the outside world is something everyone yearns for, be it from the craziness of public or the apocalypse. This installation inside of an old vault blends the line between the end of days and the end of the day. We need rest in both.
