This projects utilizes a formula (formula below) to source sentences from U.S.S.Anderson’s 1940’s The Magic in Your Mind, a book that reveals a mental magic that guarantees increased achievement and assures success. The videos are digitized 8mm family films and the audio is ripped from Kmart store cassette tapes. Aspects of logical structure remain while meaning is jumbled.

Formula -

  1. Starting page number = month

  2. Number of sentences down the page = day

  3. Determine the next sentence

    • If a positive statement = use number of words in sentence to go forward number of pages and sentences down from the top of page.

    • If a negative statement = use number of words in sentence to go backwards number of pages and sentences back from the top of page.

  4. The created passage is complete once the beginning or the end of the book is hit.
